While at school there are certainly many hours spent sat in the classroom, but playing sports is also an important part of education. Team sports teach young people the value of co-operation, determination and working as part of a team and one of the most popular team sports played in schools is rugby. Many schools have their own rugby teams and many boys – and indeed girls – spend hours practicing passing the ball and safely executing a scrum!
School rugby kits are common in schools where rugby is popular, being worn both during practices and matches with other schools. Wearing the appropriate kit not only means that students are best clothed for playing this particular sport, but also helps to encourage the sense of belonging to a team. There is also the added bonus that many school rugby tops are reversible, making it easy for one team to switch to a kit that looks different and saving students from wearing tabards or sashes, which can be irritating when playing sports.
SWI offers a range of school rugby shirts, so there is something to suit every preference. For those who prefer to play rugby without wearing sleeves, SWI offers Barbarian style rugby shirts with a collar and short sleeves. This style shirt is available in either black or blue.
For those who prefer more traditional rugby shirts there are two styles of long-sleeved rugby tops, both of which are reversible. The Cap Reversible Rugby Shirt features a contrasting band across the middle and shoulders of the shirt, whilst the regular Reversible Rugby Shirt has a contrasting panel just across the middle.
